They stood and Mary noticed what Jeff was saying. She was as tall as him now.
“What’s that! Why have I grown?”
“The vial!” Jeff said incredulous.
“Did that work? Am I becoming a bear now?” She asked while approaching Jeff and comparing their height.
When they were standing face to face, Jeff saw Mary growing and surpassing him. Soon she was looking down on him. Then Mary noticed something else.
“My body is widening! I am really turning into a bear!”
“If you are turning into a bear, you will be a huge one! You drank the Kodiak bear vial!”
Then Mary saw her nails growing and changing into two inches claws while her fingers became wider and smaller on her hands.
“Look at these claws!” Mary said while showing her hands.
“Wow! They can do really nasty things!” Jeff said while inspecting them.
Then Jeff saw her hands growing even more. He looked at Mary and saw that she was growing again and was near eight feet tall. Her arms and legs looked more muscular and her body was even wider than before.
“Wow! I feel a vertigo every time I grow! You are tinny now!”
“You are changing into an animal. Why are you so excited?”
“It’s because the instructions said that the effects last for 24 hours. I will be back by tomorrow, this time.”
“And you won’t be able to talk until there!”
“Oh, crap! That’s bad!”
Then Mary grew some more and had to reach for support when she felt her legs weaken. Then they heard a snap on her hips and she fell into fours.
“What happened?” Jeff asked while Mary stood again. But as soon as she tried to take a step forward, she fell down again.
“I think I am quadruped now! I can stand, but not walk properly. That snap was my hip bone changing!”
“Wow! Even on all fours you are still big!” Jeff said when he saw that his wife was higher than his waist.
Mary’s hands / paws where bigger now and her claws were at least three inches long. She sat on the floor to see them properly. Then both of them saw when her fur grew all over her body. It stopped growing when it reached just an inch in length and was brown.
“Wow! You look more like a bear now!”
“And I am enjoying these changes! Come with me! I want to do something while I still can!”
