"How about we have a look at the campus from the roof?" Wally offered.
"Fine with me. Lead the way."
Wally and Roger headed up the stairs, climbing at least six floors (he lost count) before reaching the roof.
They opened the door, and found a group of guys practicing magic. The men turned to look at Wally and Roger, and one guy, an african-american with a goatee, walked up and introduced himself.
"Hi, I'm Edward. Most people call me Ed. A group of us gather up here whenever we can to practice our magic."
"I'm Wally, and this is Roger. We're both new, and haven't had any classes yet. Could we watch?"
"Sure. Maybe we can teach you a little bit." Ed responded.
Wally and Roger sat on a bench and watched as the guys tested various spells, some causing visible changes, others seeming to do nothing. One pair were sitting cross-legged, facing each other. They appeared to be practicing dueling.
"Hey, fellas." A dark haired caucasian with thick glasses called. "Could you help us with a spell over here? We need some subjects to test it on."
Roger stood and headed over without waiting. Wally shrugged and followed.
"I'm Greg. That guy's Ron. We want to try a spell that requires two subjects, but we cannot use it on ourselves. Can we use you? It will only be a temporary spell."
Roger nodded, and Wally copied him. He was a little wary of what could happen, but he was curious as to what spells were like.
"Here we go..." Greg said.
