Before they could do anything they hear something from a crowd nearby, it's the sound of... giggling?
A five-year-old girl in the crowd has suddenly been overcome by fits of giggles so strong she's rolling on the floor, as she does so her body is shrinking and her limbs are getting thinner, very soon she's got a tiny body with a huge head, a chibi.
The Chibi then immediately got up and tackle-kissed a boy, who started shrinking and became chibified as well.
"Hihi, come on you two, it's the chibi virus if they kiss you you'll become a chibi!" Ally then grabbed John and Carrie by the wrists and ran down the street.
John was focused on Ally and trying to keep pace with her, while Carrie was looking back and watching many running the same direction all with smiles on their faces as they try to get away even as many are caught and kissed, joining the chibis kissing and turning everyone behind them.
She realized then that this was a game, but didn't know what they got for winning.
