While the Winter Solstice is often considered the longest and coldest night of the year, Animalia had something that would help ward off such cold, at least for a little while. The Winter Solstice Bonfire was done in the Great Hall, which was well enough away from the Great Snow War to only be hit by the "artillery strikes" every few hours. Adi was a little confused about this, because she didn't see either much fun or reason for doing this. Fortunately, there was a college student specializing in history who was able to explain some of it.
"World War I was a clash of new weapons technology meeting old, outdated strategies and tactics." He explained to Adi, who was having her Winter Solstice dinner with the Hanson Family. "One such thing that was done during this time was the Arab Revolt against the then Ottoman Empire. But what I think is that the Arab Revolt worked a little too well, and whenever something works too well you're almost guaranteed to have problems afterward.

A new page on the Animalia Website detailed Sylvia's first date with Andrew at Heiya Island. While some of it were considered genuine "vacation photos" and others were some minor cultural shock that Andrew, probably the biggest things was when Andrew was encountering things that Animalian's took for granted, almost like a different kind of cultural shock.
For example, after he and Sylvia had booked their rooms at the hot springs inn they were staying at and were ready to enjoy the hot spring, and got a "double whammy" when he found both Sylvia and the Five Elements already completely nude, much to his chagrin. While Tommy's family didn't show that part to him, it was still pretty funny.

There was also a minor incident where someone tried to impress Elizabeth with his weightlifting skills. While he was able to handle a standard weightlift of a horse Animalian, he was "disqualified" due to the seat of his weightlifting shorts splitting wide open. Just to add insult to injury, his underwear just happened to be one of those extremely embarrassing, "artsy", boxer shorts that guys wouldn't be caught dead wearing in public. The video of it did have his face pixeled out and the "telltale underwear" blacked out to save the victim from internet humiliation, but it was still 24K comedy gold.
