Drake set the lamp down. He rubbed it again, and the genie swooshed out. "Genie-" Drake began, but then the genie abruptly interrupted. "Master," he began, "I cannot allow you to make further wishes unless you take the roll of the dice." "What?" Drake said, confused. "You are allowed one wish before taking the dice." the genie intoned. "After that, to make more wishes, you must tak teh dice." "What??" Drake exclaimed. He couldn't believe he wasted his free wish on his name! "What is taking the dice?" he asked. "It is simple, Master. The person making wishes with the lamp will have to undergo a transformation. You pick either Mind or Body, then roll a dice. The number that you get will be how many types of changes you will undergo, either of mind or body, depending on which you picked. Another dice will be rolled. This will determine the extremity of the changes. Also, there is gamble, if you wish to take it. Before choosing either Mind or Body, you can roll a dice. if the number is 5 or 6, you are able to not have to take any changes. If it is lower, you will have to have changes in both Mind and Body.Make your choice now." "Now?" Drake asked, a hint of trepidation in his voice. "Now, or relinquish the lamp." the genie firmly stated.
