Bracing herself for the worst, Jen closed her eyes, maintained a straight posture, and relaxed her arms. Turns out, though... she didn't need much of that.
Her feet left the floor, her knees bent slightly now that they no longer had to support her weight, and... Jen blinked her eyes back open, looking down. Two arms, attached at the shoulders. Two breasts, still reasonably sized. Stick a hand in her panties and, yep, still purely female. Glance in the mirror, and her face had not rearranged itself. She was just... floating. The simplest mutation ever.
"Huh," she mumbled. "I expected it to be worse than that."
"I expected it to be *better* than that!" Laura complained, arms crossed across her chest, which Jen noticed was starting to grow like earlier. Her next replication must be coming up.
Jen looked back in the mirror. "You gotta admit, I look kinda graceful like this." She giggled and did a somersault right there in midair. "Wonder what my cheer regiment is like, though. Gotta hand it to the pills, I wanted something mild, and they gave me just that."
"That's weird. Do they take the victim's intentions into account?" said Laura, putting a finger to her left chin in thought. "I certainly am the type of girl to want more brains to think with."
"Maybe a bit." Jen checked her watch. "I'm definitely gonna be late now, though."
"Don't worry, I already told the teacher you had to take a massive dump."
"Uh... Thanks, I guess." It was an understandable excuse for a girl who cared more about facts than feelings to come up with, but Jen still didn't really like the image it must've put in the teacher's head. She picked up her bag and floated out the door, waving at Laura before realizing that she was just going to see another instance of her once she got to class.
