Like Eric Grimes, Rebecca Frost was guarded with standard magical wards that would protect her from spells, even those from an entity as powerful as the Wizard. (It was the power of her wards that she had to thank for not being a nymphomaniac bimbo after her previous encounters with the Wizard.) But a quick Tarot reading before she set out revealed that she was in danger from extra-planar entities as well as mundane sorcerors. The situation was quickly getting out of hand. They don't pay me enough for this shit, Frost muttered as she got a demon-quelling wand and ring of teleportation from stores. "Throw in a Wand of Changes" she added.

Jenny was even more energetic at her job now that she had Dusty to take care of the home front. Which was good because her boss Joe seemed a little out of it. She was used to covering for his errors, but there were more and more of them, as if he were forgetting some basic things about the business. And something about him just seemed, off, somehow. The Wizard and Penta were lost in a magical cyberworld of their own, or perhaps of her own as the separation between their consciousnesses grew thinner. They were ready to leave this place, after the Wizard's magical abilities, only enhanced by this new form, had ended her dependence on the building's electricity. But there was one thing--the Wizard and Penta remembered the magical pen, and knew that in the wrong hands, it could threaten the happiness of even a being as powerful as she. It would have to be recovered before they/she could leave this place.
