It's no easy feat to knock someone into unconsciousness. That's what I learned from my self-defense class. What I also learned is the least painful way to knock someone unconscious is to punch them in the skull and make their brains around. With a child at my mercy at deep raging hatred for the asshole brewing inside me, such measures were extreme but necessary. I crouched until I was at eyes length from him and within seconds, my arms arced and punched him in the noggin.
What happened after surprised both of us. I imagined a scenario where I deeply regret hitting Blake in the temple while he is unconscious below me. Instead, just as hit him at the side and he recoiled in pain, I felt myself being sucked at the moment of impact. Blake's body turned intangible and my fist phased through his head. It made me slip my footing and my whole body got dragged off by the punch of my fist. Soon there was the immediate darkness then there was light again. I was in the hallway with a throbbing pain at my temple. I looked around and noticed that everything looked bigger than before. I reached the floor to make support myself then I realized that my hands changed. It's paler than before and a whole lot smaller. There's grime between fingernail and they looked chewed off.
"Disgusting," I retched. It was at this moment that I realized that my powers have taken effect and the reasons why. Right at the moment of impact, Blake passed out from fear. My heart is racing and there's something wet inside my pajamas. When I realized the asshole's last act of defiance in his pajamas, it made me scream "Disgusting" once more.
It took about a slice of my precious time to clean myself. Luckily, Blake has ice powers and for once, I used it for the greater good. I froze my pee in the hallway and plopped the plate of urine on the toilet. Holding that cold yellow thing in my hand was the least of my worries. Like what I've said, there's dirt stuck inside my fingernail and my hair is sticky and thick. I can't even comb it with my wide fingers. So as a good babysitter, I took this time to take a deeply relaxing bath in their huge family bathroom. I used what seems to be their mother's vanilla scented bath bomb and reveled in the scent of it fragrant bubbles. I scrubbed my hind, behind, my pits and the backsides of my ears. I shampooed my hair multiple times and applied conditioner until they're smooth and silky. Once finished, I rinsed off the soap scum and dried my body. Afterward, I took more of my time applying perfume, cutting my nails, brushing my teeth and combing my hair like Jayden's. By the end of it, I don't look the discount Dennis the menace that tormented me earlier. I look like a kid that you'd found on your way to the supermarket or school.
Doing all this salon stuff to the rascal made me tired. So I walked to his pristine bedroom lined with white wallpapers and slept on his similar colored cotton bed. For a second, I got too comfortable in his body and decided to sleep in his body. Then I remembered that Mrs. Temper could come back any second now. So I thought of myself separating from his body and I did. I appeared beside him and carefully slid myself out so as not to wake him up.

Mrs. Temper didn't come back until 2 AM. She was happy by the fact that her husband only took a minor scratch in the cheeks. Other than that, nothing eventful came out of the hospital. She was even happier to find out that both her sons are sound asleep and I stayed. Most baby sitters don't last until 7 PM. When she looked for her children and saw that Blake is cleaned from head to toe, she got out of the room with a shocked expression. What I did is something she could describe as a 'herculean task'. Not even she as a mother could make the damn brat clean his hair properly. As a result, she added a twenty bucks bonus on top of my ten bucks bonus for staying on top of her remaining twenty bucks. So all in all, I've received seventy bucks for a single night of babysitting. That's more than twice the entrance fee of the Festival.
With money at hand and a tired smile on my face, I went back home and slept.
