Almost immediately, Laura feels her clothes turning tight for a pleasant change. She quickly pulls them off, glad most of all to be rid of that diaper.
Soon she finds herself passing through each of the ages she had been the past day. She feels relief as she passes through childhood and early adulthood but a bit of disappoint as she passes through her late twenties and early thirties. Finally reaching her original age, Laura concludes that being an adult again was worth regaining those last few years.
Maybe the dice were meant to teach her a lesson about appreciating what she has and not obsessing over the past. Or maybe they were just a force of chaos she nearly was destroyed by. Either way Laura definitely was going to start enjoying life more again. Maybe she'll start dating again or at least take Kaitlin up on that vacation she's been suggesting.
As she remembers Kaitlin she remembers the work she abandoned during this mess. She's definitely going to have to think of an explanation for that one when she gets back to the office. The office. Where her keys are, to her house, where the clothes she hadn't abandoned along the way are. It looks like this day isn't done with her just yet.
