The truck stopped at the back of a large barn. Dr Jenkins quickly found his bearings as he realised that he was in the Farm Living Exhibit. He looked around as the two burly men dragged him along. The site was made up of a series of outbuildings that opened out into several large fields.
The farm was always a hive of activity as a steady number of guests were transformed on a daily basis. They would then either be sold off immediately or, more likely, become involuntary participants in the farm’s breeding programme.
The Zoo made a healthy income selling the transformed visitors and their offspring. Many of the farms in the local area now kept scores of former humans and their descendants, who spent their days roaming around as common beasts.
This knowledge made Jenkins feel sick. He didn’t want to end up as some filthy farm animal!
Sadly, the doctor’s protests did nothing to dissuade his captors. They forced him to move along until they reached a little office room.
“Greetings Dr Jenkins,” the man behind the desk said cheerfully, “my name is Mr Carter, and I will by overseeing your reconditioning. I know it must seem a daunting prospect at the moment, but once you’re broken in you’ll come to enjoy it. Now then, time for me to give you THIS!”
Mr Carter whipped out a syringe with a milky white substance inside. Jenkins had a suspicion that this was a variant of his own equine transformation serum.
In any case, the doctor would soon find out what the substance was as Mr Carter quickly injected him with the vile concoction.
The man helped to guide Jenkins back into the centre of the large barn as the chemicals surged through his bloodstream. Jenkins was sweating and trembling in terror as he felt the first changes starting to creep over him. He didn’t know it yet, but soon he would become a…
