"So how does it feel?" Phillip beamed at me. He's been bugging me with senseless questions for the last few minutes. Well, how could I say? My power is unique and in Phillip's case, he hasn't seen it before.
"Tired," I groaned. Diane's spores are still circulating my system and it's taking a lot just to keep this body standing. Phillip opened his dorm room and I was surprised at how large his place is. I was never a close friend to his so that's one reason. But still, damn. He has a living room, kitchen, backyard, a large bathroom, and two bedrooms. It's like a full-fledged house. I jumped at the velvet sofa and dozed for a few minutes. Jerry's subconscious is deep asleep but there's still a sense of discomfort in his body.
Phillip disappeared into the kitchen and he came back 30 minutes later with a tray of food at hand. It's steak on a bed of peas and corn. It's no doubt that he cooked it with his pyrokinesis.
"I've brought food," He laid down the food and I took a bite. For a jock head, he's has a hand for cooking. It certainly not the best but hell, I could eat this all day. I mauled the slab of meat faster than Phillip could finish his. I took a spoonful of the vegetables and they are as delicious as the steak. "So about the elephant in the room, tell me how you found out your powers? I found mine when I burned our Vacation house in Italy."
"I possessed Kyle when we were at a sleepover. The look on my face back then," I chuckled. Compared to before, I can quickly find a way to get comfortable in the body I'm wearing. My stomach is full and I found myself patting it as I did with my previous body.
"Really? So how does it feel becoming someone? In general, I mean."
To be honest, I didn't focus on that thought. There's no need to ponder at how I feel. Get in and then get out. And I haven't even possessed that many bodies to begin with. In the entirety of my life, Jerry is probably the 20th or so body I've possessed so far and he's the one I stayed in the longest. "It's still like me I guess. Although, there are differences like how a teensy long my arms are or how they don't fit snuggly beside armpits. Or now that I'm brown instead of white. And my nose, it's so small." I bopped my nose and chuckled how cute that was.
"So can you like possess me?" Phillip asked.
"Why would you want me to possess you?" If I do have the chance or permission to do so, I'd very much like to have a go with his body. He's smaller but he's way beefier. He also has these two massive guns for arms which is interesting to have.
"It reminds me of that mecha movie Diane and I used to watch." At the mention of her name, Phillip's face frowned. He's trying to hold back his tears and to be honest, he looks funny. "Like I'll be the mech and you're the pilot. Excuse me." He wiped off his tears and retreated to the bathroom.
While he's busy moping, I washed the dishes and strolled around the house. When I mentioned that the house was big, that was a severe understatement. There's a staircase behind the kitchen that leads to the second floor and basement of the house. I went to the basement and found that the room is divided into rows of storage boxes and a complete gym facility. My current body can't handle the heavy set of dumbells so I didn't try to lift one. As for upstairs, it's just a massive room with a wall dedicated to a large glass. The floor is made of a smoothed brownstone that's comfortable to my barefoot. In the corner was a badly beaten training bot that I remember seeing in a commercial.
"This is my training room," Phillip said behind me.
"Cool," I walked to the mirror and saw my current reflection. It's unnerving at how I was used to my previous figure that it's strange that I'm seeing another. Jeremy has this aura of friendliness around him. When he's around, you could just walk up to him and talk at how your day was. Then he'd smile and give some advice he got from quotes online. That aura is gone when I'm controlling his body. Was it my drooping face or my laid out shoulder? It's like I look like Jeremy but it's a different person altogether. It's unnerving.
"Hey, Jer- I mean Josh," Phillip called, "Want to spar?"
