Elspeth materialised in her local supermarket as she often did when it was time for her weekly shop. Nobody paid any mind to the old woman appearing from nowhere as the people in her village were used to their local witch who they viewed as a friendly, helpful character. James was no doubt feeling differently about her.
Elspeth's looked around to confirm that her new companion was not in her immediate vicinity. She was certain he was in the store though and, with no sign of anybody reacting to the sight of a naked man, the curse had obviously done it's job on him. The witch smiled with self satisfaction at the sophistication of her spell. It's function of keeping James well disguised had apparently interacted with the teleportation spell to place him somewhere appropriate to his current form. Simply put, James could potentially be anything in the shop.
This wasn't something Elspeth had anticipated and potentially made retrieving him a little more complicated than she had hoped. It was a Saturday and the store was full not only of customers but staff too. Wherever and whatever James presently was there was no way he was turning back into himself until after closing time. Elspeth could come back then of course, but there was the very real possibility he could have been purchased by someone in the meantime. That would be bad.
Fortunately she would have no problem sensing him once she was close enough, but this was a large supermarket and there were so many places he could be. Sighing to herself, Elspeth grabbed a basket and began to peruse the store in search of James who, unbeknown to her at this time was....
