Amanda quickly stepped to the side as a heavy wooden box appeared out of thin air. A cube of about three feet square on each side, the box was a beautiful sight carved with swirling patterns and painted in reds beneath a shining varnish. For a moment we both stared, until it dawned on me.
"The ring must have taken the wish literally when you mentioned the idea of dressing up...sensed the image that we had in our heads of the movie, or maybe I had it in my mind's eye when I made the wish."
Amanda nodded as she lifted the lid of the box and reached inside.
"There's a costume in here," she said, "and it seems to be stuck to the bottom of the box."
"Well, lets take a look at it."
She lifted the costume from the box and held it up so that I could see what it was.
