There are some people who are simply never satisfied with anything. Strangely, they seem to almost always be the people who have more going for them than everybody else. Damon was a pampered prince in a luxurious palace in a stunningly beautiful kingdom, but it was cramping his style so he ran away whimpering to a witch. She turned him into a fucking fairy tale goose, but that wasn't good enough for Damon, because he wanted to be like a dragon or whatever. Still, he could have lived out his life as the prized pet of a wealthy sorceress! All he had to do was sit there and shove gold out his ass, and thanks to her magic and his money, he probably would have ended up in some kinda fuckin' bird paradise or something. But no, sitting in a cage in the witch's cottage for a bit was too much for the spoiled brat who felt like he'd been cooped up his whole life. So even without human words, he tried to beg a couple of shady-ass burglars to take him with them, just so they could ... do what, exactly? He got some kind of bird-brained idea that they were going to "help" him, but seriously, what were they going to do? It's a good thing Damon is never gonna be king, because he doesn't exactly think things through.
Oh yeah, and he is technically a she now, which Damon is also less than thrilled with, but ya know, whatever. She's still in the same cage, just in these young thugs' hideout instead of the witch's cottage, and they don't seem to have better plans for Damon than the witch did. They're trying to decide whether to eat her, sell her, keep her as a pet themselves, or just wait and see if she has any magical powers from her time with the witch.
"Maybe she's like a familiar or something," said John. "You don't think the witch can find us through the bird, do you?"
"You've heard too many stories, John. It's just a bird. I was kinda hopin' to make a few bucks at the pet market next week. If you wanna get rid of her now, though, I can whip up a damn good mess o' roast goose tonight."
Damon sure wasn't liking the sound of this conversation, but of course, it's not like she would have been happy even if she weren't a promising candidate for some sleezy punks' dinner.
Of course, Damon was going to have shove riches out her ass from now on whether she stayed with the witch or not. Her body clenched up again, the warm metal stretched open her hole, her insides shoved as hard as they could, and her second load of treasure popped out.

"Damn, that birds puttin' up a racket!"
"Are you sure the witch isn't finding us, Chris?"
"Shut up! Wait, John, check this out. Does this egg look funny to you?"
"Wait, the goose laid an egg? Oh, yeah, and it does look sort of weird, like some kind o' metal ball."
Damon would have blushed if she still could, while the boys reached in the cage and fumbled their fingers around her golden egg.
"Maybe I haven't listened to enough stories, John. Are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?"
John hesitated to answer. This kind of thing could only happen in fairy tales, right?
"You don't think... You DO think... Oh, Chris, do you realize what this means?"
"We've got a goose that lays golden eggs. We're rich!"
Damon flapped her wings and honked again. Was this her life from now on? Just a living lottery, pumping out wealth for other people to flip out over.
Little did she know that the witch was back from selling her first golden egg, and needless to say it was obvious that the place was in less than perfect condition. Will Damon and her new owners soon be found? And if not, what will happen when a pair of young thieves have an endless supply of golden eggs at their disposal?
