"Well, maybe for now we should find something to eat." Kelly admitted quietly, "I think the transformation took something out of me...". This was soon followed by a rather loud grumble of her stomach. Erica's mouth dropped open in shock.
"Are you seriously thinking about food right now?!" She cried. Her friend nodded vigorously.
"Well... yeah. Your parents aren't going to be back in a few days, Hannah doesn't know it's us, and I honestly can't think of anything else because I'm hungry!" Her friend prattled in a fearful voice. If she was human right now, she'd likely be crying. Erica was about to object, when... well, she was pretty hungry too. Perhaps they'd be able to think over their next move over something in their stomachs.
"Alright... I guess." Erica relented with a sigh. They slowly made their way over to the kitchen, still trying not to trip over their own paws. In both of their minds, they were still coming to terms that they had to even walk on all fours. However, such thoughts were abandoned when the fridge door was opened by Kelly grabbing it in her mouth and the heavenly scent of food flowed out of the fridge.
There were many choices: Leftover steak from Kelly's dad's latest cookout, Chinese takeout, a large pot of beef stew, and two enchiladas from when Kelly and her family last ate at the Mexican place around the corner.
