Joy looked at Evan, then pulled out her phone, being oh so careful not to loose sync with her new, conjoined friend. She then found her home on an online map.
“Here it is. Mind showin’ me where ya live?” Evan was surprise, pointing out his own home, which was about twice as far.
“I think we have a clear winner. Probably best to follow you, m’lady.” The lady of the pair smiled happily leading the way as they to her place. This didn’t mean her masculine side didn’t want to make some small talk during the walk. “So how did you learn about Polycephola anyway?”
“Well, there’s this shop near my place, and when I walked in today, the usual cashier, well... I didn’t notice at first, but he was attached to his girlfriend. They said they absolutely loved being together 24/7, and proved that they were, in fact, attached. So I bought a couple of bottles of Polycephola soda and antidote, but got thirsty and drank one.” She then chuckled. “Wasn’t thinking is randomly get hooked to a hunk like ya when I bought it though. Talk about first impressions.” Evan smiled, chuckling a little.
“Yeah. I know what you mean. Like I said, I thought I’d trick a friend, not get attached to a beautiful lady like you.” Joy blushed, looking up at as they reached her home.
“Here we are. Home sweet home. Wonder if my roommate’s here?”
