"You know, I'm just curious," said Katie, "What kind of age-changing rides do they have here?"
"I think I can already think of one," said Karen.
"You know, instead of just looking..." said Mary Elise before turning to Franklin, "Hey, Franklin, where's the nearest age-changing ride?"
"Oh, right this way," said Franklin before leading the girls in one direction. Before long, he stopped and pointed, "There it is." He was pointing at a classical merry-go-round, brightly colored and well-lit. There were many mirrors on the central pillar and the ceiling. The horses alternated between small, chibi-like horses obviously meant for little kids and larger, more realistic horses meant for older riders. The small horses and most of the big horses were facing to turn clockwise on the merry-go-round. But oddly enough, some of the big horses were facing the opposite way from the others.
Before Franklin could explain the ride, Karen said, "Don't tell me, let me guess: for each turn clockwise, the riders will age up one year, but for each turn counterclockwise, they will age down one year."
"Uh, yes, how did you know?" asked Franklin.
"Because I knew there would be one here," said Karen. She turned to the other girls and said, "See? I totally called it."
"It's true. She did," admitted Mary Elise.
"So you want to ride it?" asked Lisa.
"Hmm...nah," said Katie, "It's kinda redundant when I have the Ring of Age."
"Still, it might be interesting to see others ride it," said Kumiko.
"Yeah, I can agree with that," said Samantha. After all, they weren't the only guests in the amusement park today. It would only be a matter of time before someone takes a turn on the merry-go-round. The real question is who will the girls first witness.
