“Morning Jenny” Mr Carter said merrily, “how’s my beautiful girl doing today.” More than a year had passed since the disappearance of the Jenkins family, but that didn’t stop the Farm’s boss from checking up on his former colleague nearly every day.
The donkey brayed softly as the man stroked her muzzle. However her next bray came out much sharper and louder when she felt a painful tug on her left nipple.
“Oops” Mr Carter said with a chuckle, “little fella must be hungry.” The man smiled as he looked beneath Jenny to where her young foal was nursing. The young mule had his head buried between his mother’s legs as he greedily gulped down her nutritious milk. Jenny’s teats now felt heavy and swollen with fluid, while her nipples were fully-erect and sensitive to the touch.
“Well he looks fit and well,” Carter continued, “I’m glad to see that you have taken to motherhood so enthusiastically.” Jenny softly brayed again as she sensed the man’s approval, not registering the slightly amused tone of his voice.
“You’ll be pleased to hear that news of your old family has just arrived. I’m happy to report that they are all doing well.” With that, Mr Carter whipped out a series of letters, each detailing what the other members of Jenny’s family had been up to.
The first letter described Liam’s new life as a billy goat. He had been sold to a local petting zoo where he spent most of his time grazing and welcoming the excited guests. A picture at the bottom of the text showed Liam, his tongue outstretched as he happily licked at one of the visitor’s fingers.
Next, Jenny heard about her daughter’s exploits. Melissa now lived at a local hog farm where she had quickly made herself feel at home. The letter reported that she was a friendly pig, if a little greedy. The photograph showed the enormous sow lying on her side in the mud, with ten adorable piglets eagerly feeding from her swollen teats. The caption stated that this was Melissa’s third litter, suggesting that she was by now a proficient breeder.
And lastly, the third letter concerned Jenny’s former wife. It turned out that Abby had now joined a cattle herd at a large dairy farm. She was already something of a prized asset, seemingly having a higher milk output than most of her herd mates.
And this productivity had hardly gone unnoticed. Abby had won several awards at famous country shows, clearly impressing the judges with her size and friendly nature. The inevitable result of this was that she was soon sought after by dozens of ambitious cattle breeders. The image on the letter showed Abby nursing her first young calf from her enormous udder. However, the note confirmed that Abby hadn’t been given much respite. Already she was pregnant with her second calf; and after that she had a long list of worthy bulls lining up to pass on their genes in the future.
Having finished with the letters, Mr Carter bent down before taking a new picture of Jenny and her young foal.
“Perfect!” Carter announced merrily, “the rest of your family will be delighted to learn that you’re getting on so well.”
With that, Carter returned the picture and the letters to his pocket before he turned to leave. Jenny brayed sadly, not wanting the friendly man to go.
“Aww I’m sorry girl,” Mr Carter said with a smile, “tell you what, I’ll try to book you in to see Prince again. He normally has a very busy schedule, but I’m sure that for you the Stables will be willing to find the time!”
Jenny brayed out again happily, seemingly recognising the stallion’s name. She watched the man leave before her attention was drawn back to the young foal between her legs.
Mr Carter felt good as he sat in his office, already planning what he should do next…
