Alex heard hooves? He went to investigate. He was here to try out for the part of Robin Goodfellow, aka Puck. He knew he had the look. He was barely five feet tall, thin, and blond. The dressing room light was on, and the room was empty except for a latex suit on the floor. Alex picked it up.
He laughed as he held the dark hairy muscleman suit in his arms. If only it was as easy to get big and strong by putting on a latex suit in real life. No one is around. So Alex closes and locks the door. The latex suit is now the exact image of Marco Vincenzo who now haunts the streets as a donkey man. Living latex Mitch is but Nathan's pawn in all this. He is inanimate.
As Alex strips down to his briefs, and steps into Mitch. The suit is way too big for him, and he expected it to look ridiculous. It actually fit perfectly, he even felt taller and stronger.
"Director on the set!" a voice shouted from the wings.
"I would try out in this costume if it didn't look so much like a rubber sex toy," Alex said allowed fondly his large rubber encased genitals. If only he really was that big.
He found the suit a lot tighter coming off than going on. Alex recalled hearing that people liberally covered themselves with talcum to make getting in and out of latex costumes easier.
As he pulled his foot out, Alex was startled to see that the costume now had yellow hair, and seemed smaller. He picked it up and saw with a start that the suit was an exact likeness of him. He turned to compare himself to the suit in the mirror and received a bigger shock. He was now a hot muscular dark haired Italian, the twin of the costume. Instinctively, Alex knew he was no longer Alex, but Marco. He tossed his jeans and shirt on a chair with the suit, and spotted Marco's gear in the corner. Five minutes later, Marco Vincenzo emerged from the dressing room to walk on stage and give an excellent audition as Robin Goodfellow.
"I'd have said he would make a perfect Bottom when he walked out on stage, but in that performance he really was Puck. I know it's a break with tradition, but Puck as a wild mountain man seems more exciting. I suppose we'll have to cast a short blond now as Bottom," said the director.
Rob Henner who was sitting behind him stifled a groan, he had the Bottom part down pat, but he looked too much like the guy they'd just cast as Puck, he'd never get the part. Unless maybe if he was blond?
Rob slipped backstage to try to find a blond wig, instead he found Alex's disgarded costume.
