"Though there is one thing you should know," Yuriko added. "As a rule, mind control does NOT mean the person magically forgets everything they did while under mind control, UNLESS they're ordered to. I included that commanded for you to forget what you were doing as an extra bit of work. On TV, the 'where am I?' is typically used so when the hero is freed from the villain's mind control, the audience will be able to quickly accept that nothing the hero did while under mind control was their own actions, because TV writers think the audience can't tell the difference. I'll admit... maybe I shouldn't have done it. Because ordering someone to forget what they do while under mind magic CAN have some side effects."
"Side effects?!"
"Basically, nothing simply vanishes into nothing. If you don't remember what you did, who does? If you were you when you dressed up girly, then who were you?! Basically it can cause you to say, develop a split personality who IS girlie, who will have as much desire to exist as you. Thankfully, you were only that way for a few seconds, so it shouldn't likely result in a second persona forming."
"Likely?!"
"Don't worry. I just wanted to make clear that not remembering what you did while under mind magic is NOT a default state, in fact, you have to put EXTRA effort into someone not remembering. After all, imagine if you were given the mental command to blink a extra time a minute for years... and then it was removed, and suddenly you'd have forgotten all those years of your life. Or if there was an enchantment over an entire town for everyone to be ever so slightly less likely to stab each other in the face, and you removed it, the entire town would be suddenly mental infants."
The group shuddered. Yes, that was a very disturbing thought.
