In the year 2069 the number of females born starkly decreased to nearly zero, with only 12 women born throughout the entire Empire. Thankfully whatever disease which caused this dramatically low rate of female births had no effect on the women already living in the Empire, all of whom would go on to live long happy lives. Still with such a low number of women in the Empire cloning became the only method of continuing its legacy, revealing that this disease had somehow spread from natures womb to these artificial ones.
The last 12 woman in the Empire died just the same as the previous generation, and thus humanity was left with but one gender, sustained only by their cloning technology. Though the Empire mourned in the darkest parts of men's souls, they were ecstatic for they have all become gay. Wither a result of the same disease that lead to the extinction of womankind or the simple fact that for almost all the men in the Empire there were no other options, every single man in the empire was gay, some to the point they found women repulsive.
But being gay was not where it ended, not only were all the empire's men gay but most were rather effeminate. The exact reason is unknown, some blame it on the disease, others the lack of women, and some even believe it to be an act of god, regardless of the reason 97% of men in the Empire, cloned or otherwise, were "Sissies." No one minded this, in fact they all embraced it with the clothing of the now died womankind becoming common among "Sissykind."
