As you exit the alley you can feel the balloon tail connected to the latex patch on your crotch. Your tail moves as you walk, side to side, making a little squeak noise that your balloon ears pick up with enhanced clarity.
Nobody pays you any attention as they stand in line for rides or dash around madly playing tag and throwing things.
Everybody is acting like a Jack Ass. Thats how the line went in the book too. Would they change like you did, or was there something specific? It was surely related to your balloon you purchased.
Nate is standing at the hot dog stand and turns around just as you approach.
"Oh hey buddy. I was wondering where you want." He smiles and offers you a hot dog.
It takes a moment for him to notice your changes but then his smile fades and he gets a curious look on his face of shock, and then suddenly bursts out laughing.
"Oh my god! hahaha! What happened to you? You have the stupidest ears! hahahaha." He looks you up and down as he continues to laugh. Maybe this wasnt a good idea. Nate clearly isnt helping.
"Nate you have to help. Stop laughing. Look at me man! I have donkey ears and a tail but its not normal!" You pull your tail around and show him, it makes a little squeak as your hand slides across it.
"Whoah man its like a balloon, but its grow out of you, or on you..." Nate becomes serious but is still smiling. "Holy shit its just like those balloon over there that guy is selling." Nate turns around and points but the spot is unoccupied. The balloon seller must have moved on. Other boys are walking around with balloon on their wrists though, so he has only just left, you are certain of it.
"Look at this too. Im not just getting donkey balloon parts. Im still changing. Im becoming a donkey balloon I think. There has to be a cure. You have to help me." You move your hand down to your crotch where the patch of latex has spread a little, it looks more like a brown latex speedo now wrapping around your hips and connecting to your tail in the back. Its thick at the sides and its makes a little squeak as your hands move over it. Its like your skin changed, but what was underneath had not yet transformed.
"Whoah. You are an anatomically incorrect toy donkey balloon man or some shit. This is a trip. Can you feel this?"
Nate reaches out without warning and moves his hand over your crotch sending a little wave of pleasure through you as his hand makes squeaky sounds massaging your latex flesh.
"Uhngn" Is all you can say. It feels too good to make words.
"Whoah is mooshy too, like a real balloon. Oh sorry about that. I guess that means you can feel me eh? Hehe." Nate pulls his hand away and you come out of your reverie and look at him sternly.
"Dont do that. This isnt OK for me. I was a normal guy. Hell better than normal. I work out hard for these muscles and my sun tan, I spend time on my hair and skin, and now look at me? Who is gonna date a high school senior who is a balloon donkey? Lets go!"
You and Nate walk away from hot dog stand.
