The merman's heart sank as he felt another tentacle wrap around his tail. Right then, the tentacles sharply pulled Alex away from his eggs even further.
"Ow!" Alex cried in pain. "Cut it out!" He said but nothing came out it. If he was a human and still had two limbs, he might've had a chance to kick the tentacles with his free leg. Unfortunately, since he had only one scaly limb, he was helpless to whatever sea creature captured his tail.
Alex wondered where the tentacles were taking him. He then became panicked when he saw he was being dragged into a cave.
"Stop! I mean it! Come on!" Alex begged but all he was met with was even more pulling from the tentacles. His sacrifice of his two legs for a single fish tail sealed his fate.
The merman soon noticed the two tentacles belonged to the lower body of a familiar figure. "Hello, Alex." Alora said.
"Alora?" Alex gasped. "What are you doing?"
"Your three days are up, Alex. Now you're mine." Alora answered.
"What do you mean?"
Alora shows Alex his contract. She points to the terms. "It says so right here. Three days and you'll be mine as a polyp."
Alex's heart sank even deeper. "Please, isn't there another way for me to remain a merman? I have kids in eggs waiting for me, for crying out loud!"
Alora shrugged. "Maybe you should've thought of that before you signed your name on the contract. Sorry, Alex, but what's done is done. Hopefully, a mermaid will raise your raise your fries before they become shark chow."
The sea witch snapped her fingers and the contract began to swirl around the merman like a whirlpool of magic.
"No!" was the last word the merman cried out, swirling around as he became an ugly sea creature. Alex was now a polyp.
Alora smiled as she grabbed the creature and placed it next to Damon and Monica.
"There. Hopefully you three will be good friends as I collect more." Alora giggled as she swam out.
