Jackie sighed contentedly as she gazed out the window. "Well Katie certainly picked a beautiful place to get married at."
Jackie smiled, glancing at her aged up girlfriend. "Yeah I'm surprised too," she said. "My niece certainly knows how to pick a destination wedding."
"Gives us some options for our wedding Angel," Jackie said coyly, causing Ann to blush fiercely. "Cmon Jackie," she stammered. "Arent you thinking a bit too far into the future."
"Dont tell me your getting cold feet," Jackie smirked. "I mean cmon we already know were together in the future. I'm just spitballing ideas here."
"Okay true," Jackie countered. "Still though doesnt it freak you out that our future is already written? I mean, it's kind if freaky that we already know what's going to happen with you, me, everybody."
Jackie paused, biting her lip apprehensively. She had yet to tell Ann about what she and her friends had learned from Yuriko. If what the time traveling teen said was true, they were all about to go through a very rough patch of history.
"What's bugging you darling," Ann asked.
Jackie sighed, the last thing she wanted to do was worry Ann. Still, she hated keeping things from her. "Okay," she said. "Ann you remember that girl Yuriko?"
"Kumikos future daughter," Ann asked. "Yeah what about her?"
"The thing is this," Jackie stated. "She says there's a war coming. Alot of people are going to die. I'm, im worried about what could happen to you."
Ann smiled warmly, taking her girlfriends hand in hers. "Listen," she said softly. "I'll be okay. I'm not going anywhere and we already know that. Besides, I'm pretty sure that whatever happens your going to do great.:
"What makes you so sure," Jackie asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I have excellent taste in women," Ann smirked.
Jackie chuckled softly, placing a peck on Ann's cheek as they now pulled up to the hotel. "Look Jackie," Ann stated. "Whatever this war is we're going to be okay. I have faith in that. This weekend, let's just enjoy ourselves."
Jackie smiled as the couple now exited their car and grabbed their things. Despite Jackie's concerns about what was to come, she would enjoy her time with Ann. No matter how long or short that would be.
