Once both school and cheering practice ended, Jennifer invited her two ‘best friends’, Naomi and Jade over at her house, the first being African-Americans while the second was half-Asian. Nothing truly unusual, if it wasn't for how nervous Jen seemed to be, and it worried the two stooges.
You see, there was a specific dynamic between those three, always bringing the worst in each others. That said, Jade and Naomi always had been followers. They used to follow the previous leader of the cheer squad, under which they tormented lot of peoples at school and played on Jen's insecurity to mold her into the bitchy queen bee she had become. What the old leader didn't realize is that the ‘new and improved’ Jennifer Smith would take over her little team of bullies and use them to humiliate the previous queen, taking her place not only in their social circles at school but also in the squad.
So yeah, Jen had invited those two and only them, knowing they wouldn't even think to use what she was about to say to take her place, unlike the rest of her so called friends.
"What is it Jen? Why are you so nervous? You acted strange all day!" Finally asked Naomi. The wort part for Jennifer being that, while she knew she had made a piss poor job at hiding how stressed she was by her situation, the curse created a little voice in the back of her head berating her for it. "What a terribly bad kunoichi you make" it said "a good kunoichi would have made them think she was fine, she could make anyone believe absolutely anything she want."
"You… You know the rumor about the town curse?" Asked Jen, at the verge of crying. "It's real, and I'm one of its victim." She then proceed to explain all that happened, what was expected of her and what she would become if she failed, all this without ever revealing the name of who cursed her. She knew the girls wouldn't be nice to Kyle if she did, and a growing part of her wanted to protect the person she was starting to see as her master.
