Samantha feverishly now tried to think what she could do. With each passing moment little Chelsea crept closer, meaning she crept closer to her terrible twos. "Theres got to be a way to fix this I just wish I knew how?"
Samantha threw her hands over her mouth as the words escaped, she hadn't meant to make a wish. Fortunately for her it worked in her favor, now she understood the rules of the ring. "So that's it," she thought. "I cant undo the wishes I made." Glancing between herself and Chelsea she winced. She would be stuck as a kid for the foreseeable future, still their was a way to keep things from getting worse.
"Okay," she whispered. "I wish I wouldnt get any younger than I am right now. Also, just to be safe I wish little Chelsea was much older than me." Although unsure if it worked she now looked herself over, it looked like she would have to play the waiting game.
Over the next 30 minutes Samantha now found herself talking with a newly nerdified Chelsea. While a part of her felt bad for the girl, Samantha found it quite nice. The old Chelsea had been a bit of a brat. This new, geekier Chelsea was an absolute sweetheart. Surprisingly Samantha found herself happily talking with the girl, finding the two had far more in common than she would of thought.
"Oh look Chelsea's here," Rachel called excitedly. Samantha gulped as she watched the front door. In moments she would find out of her wish came true or if she would find herself waiting to go back to preschool. Much to her surprise and relief, nothing happened. Little Chelsea though wasnt as fortunate.
A leggy, gorgeous blond woman now entered the home smiling broadly as Diana and Rachel raced to hug her. "Chelsea how was your trip?"
Chelsea grinned, hugging her cousin tightly. "Traffic was a bear," she sighed. "But I wouldnt of missed this for the world. My little cousin getting married. This is going to be better than my 30th birthday."
"How was your birthday," Rachel asked as she took her coat.
"Thankfully I've had a week to recover," Chelsea smirked. "Now cmon Diana show me the dresses and tell me all about the lucky groom. I want to know everything."
As the adults now hurried into a side room, Samantha let out a sigh of relief. She had dodged a bullet by turning the former 3 year old into a 30 year old. Gazing down at her ring she had a feeling she wouldnt be getting any younger. The only question now was where her and the other Chelsea stood as far as the bridal party was concerned.
