Jake instantly thought of his dog back home. His parents bought home a shiba inu with an orange and cream fur pattern when he was 8. His name was Ash. Jake loved every time he got home, Ash was waiting for him to tackle him and give him a couple of licks, wagging his curly tail. Jake loved Ash, and he wanted something to remember him by while he was away. He thought he'd give himself a tail of a shiba inu so he would be reminded of him. Plus, he was curious what a tail would feel like.
Jake typed in shiba inu tail into the program. He also specified he wanted the orange and cream fur pattern. "This should be intresting." Jake said to himself and hit change. A few seconds pass by with nothing notable happening, then Jake started feeling pressure from his lower back. "Huh... is it really working?" Wasting no time, Jake rushed to the mirror and pulled his jeans and underwear down just enough to see a bulge in his spine. "I'm doing it... I'm actually growing a tail!" Jake reached down to feel the bump first hand. It was very sensitive, sending shivers upward his spine. As the bump grew bigger, Jake had made out it was extending into a more curled upward shape. The tail had grown about 9 inches long already, as orange fur spread up the top part of the base, and cream fur spread lower. Jake felt his tail again as the fur spread further up. It felt good for some reason. Not because of the soft fur spreading around, but the feel of a new appendage had started to take place. Jake's tail was now about 1 foot long, still curling upward. The last patch of fur had finally reached the tip, completing his new appendage. Not a moment to soon, it started wagging, showing Jake s approval.
Jake stared in the mirror a few seconds to process what had happened. He had a tail that was wagging right above the seat of his pants. It almost looked like Ash's, only slightly bigger and a few inches longer. "Huh. No wonder he's always so happy. This thing feels awesome." He said as his tail continued to madly wag above his pants. Jake had held it in his hands, feeling the sensitive sensation as well as the soft fur that came with it.
The program beeped, signaling Jake to turn his attention toward his laptop. Coming over he saw a message. "Shift reality" was displayed on the screen. Jake couldn't believe it. First, the program had given him a full functional tail, and now it had a feature to make everyone think it was normal? Jake had thought about it, and decided to best keep this contained, clicking yes to shift reality. Another text showed up. "Reality has been adjusted." Jake smiled, tail still wagging.
Now that Jake had a tail just like Ash's to remember him, and people thought it'd be normal, Jake wanted to see what else he could pull off with this thing...
