With all sorts of news from around the world going on, and the most serious being the coronavirus, focus was turned away from Animalia, if only for a little while. But that didn't mean that it wasn't being completely neglected. There were a few reporters, mainly local ones, covering things in Animalia, but there was the occasional thing that ended up becoming viral videos that became extra popular.

While it was true that the newest members were all in the upper classes (with only one or two in the upper-upper classes), what was a bit of a surprise was the fact that all of them were over 50 years old, with one woman in her 80s. This generated a lot of comments, mainly from confirmed internet trolls, that talked about how they were taking advantage of Animalia's 'fountain of youth'. But what was drawing more attention was a video shot by a guy who just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
In it Sgt. Bash was giving them a welcoming "lecture" to Animalia, which helped them learn a bit more about what life in Animalia was like. But there was one line from that was instant gold, both in the viral video and in internet memes.
"Yer momma ain't here to kiss your bruises, and yer daddy ain't here to bail you out if you get into trouble."
But one unintended side effect was that the quote was used by internet trolls who use any excuse to attack rich people on the internet, from the death of the whales to the depletion of the rainforest. But one comment from a pastor managed to reduce the number of attacks, if only slightly.
"You can have your fun today, but what happens when you finally get caught?"

Another interesting video was when Tomi, now a honey badger was doing a practice match with Simone at Claw Coliseum when there were no matches going on. The four minute video, shot by Aida, showed Tomi doing aggressive wrestling while Simone was more about clever defense.
This eventually culminated in Tomi doing a lunging charge which Simone foiled by simply stepping out of the way, thereby causing Tomy to knock her noggin on one of the Octagon's posts (which were specially reinforced to prevent breaking from a hard collision, either on the fence or the posts themselves) and getting K.O.'d from the impact, with Ella giving the '1-2-3' being the icing on the cake.

While it was true that there was a lot of hippies (modern, 60s era, or otherwise) looking to join Animalia, willing or otherwise, not all of them headed to Lyre for their conversions. The second choice for "immigration" was Dino City, due in no small part to the popularity of the Jurassic Park series. Because of this, there was a few amusing things going on.
The one that was generating the most attention was Sgt. Slash's meeting with the hippie recruits. While there were parts that were similar to Sgt. Bash's speech/meeting, there were some that were completely new, such as him threatening to eat those who weren't "performing well", to joking about how he would be making sure that their heads "wouldn't whistle in a crosswind".
There was also a minor one where Heather was reunited with her 'fan' from Spookyville, and discovered that she might be a little bit "more" than a fan, especially since she got a Syntixisaurus Rex conversion. What made it even funnier was the fact that Jeremy didn't seem to have a clue about what was going on, which was definitely sitcom-worthy material, at least in some ways.
