"An elephant trunk. Complete with tusks. I'd like to see how you handle that." Marcus told Jake , going back to his book which featured elephants. At least Jake knew he got some inspiration. "Alright then." Jake started typing bringing up Marcus's profile. Jake put in elephant trunk into the text box.
Self aware: yes
Bystander aware: no
Pleasure: no
(wanted to say yes, but they were in a library)
Timer: 00:30
Jake pressed enter and watched. Nothing noticable for a few seconds. "See? Told you that thing was-" Marcus was cut off when he felt something in his mouth. "Ugh... What was that?" He asked putting his book down. Before he could ask Jake what happened, two white structures erupted from below his nose, as they began to grow and curl upward. Marcus stared wide eyed. Jake looked at him smugly smiling, wagging his tail. Marcus also began to notice his nose was pushing upward. His nose than started pushing away from his face. Seeing his nose growing up to about 2 feet, it began to develop a rough texture, staying the same color as his skin, but becoming more wrinkled. His nose grew another 3 inches before stopping. Marcus looked at his reflection on the wooden table. He had an elephant trunk.
"Well? What do ya think?" Jake asked smugly, putting his laptop in his bag. Marcus decided to get a feel for his new nose. He was able to move it in any direction, confirming it was as flexible, and even tried sipping water out of the bottle he had. With a sudden movement, he sprayed the water in Jake's direction. "Hey! Whoa! Ugh... Really? Was that your plan this whole time?" Marcus smiled through his trunk, flexing it as if it were a muscular arm. "If it didn't work, no. But now that I got this, I had to try something!" Jake never saw Marcus so excited. Jake laughed wiping off the rest of the water. "You and I gotta have a date with that thing sometimes! That's some crazy shit right there!" "I know right? Oh... 9:00 pm. They're probably gonna shut down soon. Will you be in your room tomorrow? " Jake asked. "Yeah. I don't have plans this weekend." Marcus told him. "Oh, i'm also planning on inviting Luna if you don't mind." Jake knew how uncomfortable Marcus was around couples. "The more the merrier." Marcus said as they rise from their chairs. "Cool then. I'll see ya tomorrow bud." Jake said heading out the library. "Hold up." Jake stopped and looked back. "So you did set *this* to be *normal* right?" Jake nosed his head up n down, slightly wagging his tail. "Good. Wanted to make sure." Jake always liked how Marcus was skeptical about him. Why would he do that to his best friend... Even though he probably do it for a laugh or two.
Jake made his way out the library and traveled back to his dorm...
