You bring your last box into the room your cousin had set aside for you. You sat down on the bed frame that was set up before you got there and sighed. Moving was a drag.
“Joel, come here real quick,” a girls voice requests from the door of the room.
You tiredly stand up and walk across the room.
“Hey, what’s up?” you ask.
“Nothing. I just want to make sure you can reach me. Let me add you on Snap,” she says, pulling out her phone and opening the app.
You do the same and find the code for her to scan. When it’s done, you get a notification that “Julie Watson added you.”
After a brief moment of silence, you thank Julie, saying “Thanks for helping me out with this. If there’s anything I can do for you, just ask me.”
“Actually, there might be something you can do for me. Come over later and I’ll show you,” Julie said, turning around with a mischievous smile before you could respond.
“I’m not sure if I like where this is headed or not” you think to yourself.
