"Ok class, this seves as a perfect reminder of why you should only be practicing your magic within these walls." Elspeth began having brought the disrupted class back to attention with some difficulty "you may take fifteen minutes to clean yourselves up but no longer than that. Rest assured, nobody will miss out on their chance to demontrate their skills because of this little mishap"
The girls gratefully and urgently fled the classroom to clean themselves off. James would have given anything to have joined them, this was the most impossibly beautiful collection of young women he had ever seen. But sadly, he was left alone with Elspeth.
"You're doing splendidly" the old witch smiled as James clambered back onto the desk "I know the girls really appreciate this. In fact..."
The old woman smiled mischievously.
"Choose one of them"
James looked a little confused.
'You don't have to decide now, but at the end of the lesson let me know which of the girls is your favourite. The one you would most like to spend some more time with"
She winked at James, but refused to say any more as she wandered back to her desk to make some notes.
James wasn't sure exactly what that meant, with Elspeth not everything was as it seemed, but he couldn't help running through his options anyway. Roxanne and Maria were the most obviously beautiful, but he had felt the closest connection with Melanie so far. Meghan was seriously cute and had the potential to be a stunner if she let her hair down and, though she would no doubt be a risky choice, there waa something strangely alluring about Morgan. Maybe if he got to know her better? Or maybe one of the girls he hadn't met yet would grab his attention?
As the girls returned to their desks, James was left with a lot to think about. But for now it was time for him to meet the next girl.
