Meredith let out a sigh and pat the two catalyst drives. ''I'm not a monster nor a sadist. So let's go on with this.'' She smiles. James and Nicola fears she means they'll remain like this forever and as her slaves. ''And before we continue im just gonna mark you real quick.'' Meredith says as she flick out her wand and pokes James at the base of her neck where a black coloured band twirled around then surrounded the base of her neck and merged into her skin, then it seemingly disappeared. ''Thats the mark. Now to return you.'' Meredith mumbles and quickly flicks her wand at the forehead of James, then Nicola.
They begin feeling tingly, Then in a sudden flash they found themselves on the cold floor disoriented. Then as the dizzyness faded away They found themselves no longer as catalyst drives but as normal humans to their largest relief. James also found himself back in his normal body. ''That wasn't so bad was it?'' Meredith smiled. ''Just wait till i g-...'' Nicola gets interrupted as she realizes something. ''WHERE ARE MY CLOTHES!?'' Nicola exclaimed as she covered her breasts. Meredith raises an eyebrow. Then James notices he's also naked. Not wanting to be dramatic he just turns around and curls up with his back to the two females.
''Why would you need clothes?'' Meredith cackled. ''Don't worry, i'll give you a perfect copy of them once you get through your quota.'' She continued with a smile. Nicola looked angrily at Meredith, then sighed. ''Fine. Let's just get over it as fast as possible...'' She grumpily muttered. James looked behind him at Meredith. Then a fear arose in his mind. ''Can you give us potions which wont make me female?'' He nervously asked to which Meredith chuckled. ''Sorry, can't promise that. After all i don't know what most of them do so not like I could if i wanted.''
James let out a defeated sigh. ''Hey. Lighten up. It's not all bad. You could always submit yourselves to me. Of course whenever i need use of a catalyst drive i know where i can find the perfect one~.'' Meredith cackled, then James realized why Meredith had supposedly 'marked' him. Meredith cackled. ''I'm not as bad as most witches trust me. Plus i guarantee you'll enjoy it~.'' Meredith smiled as she pat the nervous James on the head. Then he wondered about something. ''W.- wait no. Uh. Do i get any payment for your unreasoned usage of me as a catalyst drive?'' He stammered as he looked up at the upraised Meredith. Meredith looked like she had realized something important, then looked thoughtful.
''Hm. You're right i should give you something in return... Maybe? Wait no. Hm. Ah. How about i pay you every time i use you hm?'' Meredith offered. James looked thoughtful. ''Maybe? I mean how much are you willing to pay?'' James asked. ''Hm. how about 500 pounds?'' She offered. James thought about it. Then thought up another question so he could better orient himself. ''Well... How much would you have sold me for?'' He asked. Meredith raised her eyebrow. ''Well. about 2 million pounds. Your friend would have gone for 400 grand, catalyst drives are exceptionally rare and very expensive in the witching world.'' James stared wide eyed. 2 million? For him?
''Uh... 5 grand?'' James asked. ''Im not going above 2 grand okay?'' Meredith snapped, making James flinch because of her sudden reaction. ''Um. 500 pounds sounds fine then...'' James said in defeat, curling back up. Meredith looked confused at him. ''I did just offer you payment of 2 grand...'' She repeated. ''I... Don't need that much...'' James said back. Meredith was confused. But shrugged. Before she came up with something else. ''How about i offer you a rent-free apartment in my shop then?'' Meredith offered. James looked back at her. ''Uh. S-sure?'' James reluctantly accepted.
Meredith merely smiled and patted him. ''You're not going anywhere missy.'' She said flicking out her wand and looking sternly to her right. James looked behind her and noticed Nicola having tiptoed to the door. ''Shit!'' She exclaimed as she rushed to exit through it. But Meredith was faster, pointing her wand towards the fleeing Nicola who immediately froze. Then she want crashing into the wall as Meredith flicked her wand towards it. Nicola hit the wall with a grunt as she fell to the ground, gritting her teeth. She was unharmed but had felt the shock. ''Here's your next potions.'' Meredith smiled as two glass bottles floated to her right.
One held green liquid while the other held a dark purple. James just sighed and turned around. ''I'll take the green one...'' He said with a defeated look. Worried about what'll happen now. Meredith smiled and the green potion floated up to him. He grabbed it and looked at Nicola. ''Then you'll have the dark purple.'' Meredith said to Nicola as the purple one floated up to her. ''I don't want it...'' She grumpily said. ''Well either you take it or I'll have you stay for a week.'' Meredith threatened. ''While your cute friend here goes home without you, and with more money than you earn in a decade.'' She taunted Nicola causing her to stare at her. James looked confused at that offer.
''Fine...'' Nicola grumpily said through gritted teeth and grabbed the potion. popping the top and taking a whiff, grimacing from the foul smell of the dark purple liquid. Meredith looked over at James who also popped his top. Then with a deep breath James took a chug. noticing how it tasted almost nothing. Then Nicola also took a chug of her potion. coughing from it's grassy taste. Then meredith made the potions float back to her side. their tops going back on as they magically refilled. Her eyes glinted a tiny bit before she smiled.
Then watched the two as their changes began anew...
