Sara concentrated on James for a moment then turned to the class and cleared her throat before making an announcement.
"...And now I shall demonstrate how to transform a human subject into a frog"
As she continued to look James up and down an expression of uncertainty filled the apprentice witch's face. James closed his eyes and winced as he prepared himself for whatever the spell was actually going to do to him.
When he opened them again, he was completely and obviously unchanged. Breathing a sigh of relief, James figured the attempted spell had done nothing and that was hopefully the end of Sara's turn. This was one transformation he had been particularly dreading - at least most of the other students seemed to know what they were doing.
Then suddenly he was alerted to a shout from Roxanne "Hey what happened to Mel?"
Sure enough, where the cute and busty Melanie had been there now sat a pile of seemingly discarded clothes. Then sonething leapt out and freed itself from them - a small unremarkable looking frog.
James watched the reaction of the class with interest. There were audible gasps of shock as the frog made it's way from the pretty brunette's desk to the front of the classroom. One or two of the girls looked close to tears, several others were openly horrified. It seemed they were far more comfortable casting spells on James than each other.
"Keep calm girls, there is no need to panic" Elspeth assured the class.
Sara, for her part, had turned bright red and seemed determined to make uo for her mistake.
"Wait, I can fix this!" She assured the class. Before anyone could stop her she was pointing at the frog and muttering something under her breath. But nothing happened. At least not to Melanie.
"Hey, look at Morgan!" Abigail seemed as much amused as concerned as she pointed at the gorilla in a ripped school uniform sitting at the desk next to her. James couldn't help but shoot the ape a look of amused satisfaction. Perhaps there was such a thing as karma after all.
"I'm sorry, please let me fix this!" Sara begged desperately as she raised her hands to begin yet another transformation.
Some of the girls were screaming in fear at this point, a few were in tears while some of the more advanced and quick thinking members of the class like Meghan and Carly were busy casting protective spells on themselves.
It was at this point Elspeth took control of proceedings.
"No Sara, that's enough. Back to your desk, now!"
James felt sorry for the poor girl as she dropped her hands, hung her head and tearfully trudged back to her desk. He didn't really see why what she had done was any worse than what the other girls had been doing to him all lesson. And technically she had fulfilled her initial brief.
"Ok, get a grip of yourselves girls. No harm has been done" Elspeth ordered in a more authoritarian tone than usual.
With a wave of her arm, a fully human Morgan was sat in place of the large ape again. She looked somewhat shell shocked initially before noting the ripped clothes she had burst out of earlier and snarling at Sara.
Elspeth then waved her hand at the frog that had hopped towards her, croaking urgently to draw attention to it's plight. James couldn't help but stare as the amphibian quickly transformed back into a beautiful, busty, naked young woman. After a few moments of confusion Melanie rose from a squatting position to her feet and shuffled awkwardly, one hand quickly thrown across her breasts, the other covering her pussy, back to her desk where she quickly began to dress.
"Morgan, Melanie I'm so sorry!" Sara was on the verge of tears.
"It's fine Sara, it was an accident" Melanie answered with more than a hint of annoyance as she pulled her bra over her beautiful breasts.
"You bloody fool, you don't belong in this class!" Morgan was on her feet, almost shaking with rage "I must insist Sara is punished ma'am. Transforming a fellow student is an expellable offense!"
"So is cruelty to a test subject" Elspeth shot Morgan a withering look "sit down Miss Singh, unless you really want me to become a stickler for the rules"
Close to tears of anger, the young woman sat down and folded her arms aggressively, glaring at Sara in a way that suggested this was far from over. James had zero sympathy for her - being a monkey was nothing compared to being a statue with an itchy penis. Still, it was eye opening how casually these girls transformed him compared to how affronted they were at the idea of being transformed themselves.
"Ok, settle down class" Elspeth instructed with authority "Now, who is next?"
