"What about a dog?" Sarah asked. "That's pretty harmless. And we could have lots of fun."
"I suppose we could try it," I said, hesitantly. Excellent, Sarah said, filling in the details on the computer. Before I could stop her she hit the return button. Initially nothing happened. Then I felt a tingling around my behind. Moments later a little tail sprouted and started to grow. Next I felt a tingling on my head. My human ears disappeared and dog ears sprouted from the top of my head. At the same time both my hearing and sense of smell sharpened. Now my face started to ache. The pain seemed to be something else. Then a moment later a snout sprouted and grew, moving my mouth and nose forward, just like any other dog.
"Sarah please....Woof." What I was about to say was lost as my voice was replaced by a bark. I panicked and tried to speak again, but all that came out was a volley of barks. I tried to grab at my voice box but found that I no longer had hands. My arms and hands had been replaced by two beige furry dog's legs. Moments later I was forced off my human legs as both they and my body became those of a dog and I fell to all fours. I stood in the living room, dazed. While I was distracted Sarah slipped a pink collar around my neck and attached a lead. She pulled and took me to the kitchen where there was a dog crate waiting for me. Inside was a bowl of dog food and a bowl of water waiting for me. As I entered the cage Sarah shut the door and bolted it. I was now her prisoner.
