Before Elspeth could even call on the next student, a short girl with neon pink hair and a uniform that looked far more expensive than any of the other girls’ stood up, a frown on her face.
“I’ve been waiting since the start for my turn, and I’m tired of waiting, Ma’am!”, the girl demanded in an unpleasantly shrill voice. Elspeth sighed, along with a fair majority of the class.
“Jenna, you’ve gone first the last two lessons. I figured that you could..... fine. Come on up”, Elspeth replied in a tired tone. James got the feeling that this girl was the sort of person who wouldn’t take “no” for an answer.
The girl mosied her way over to James, completely ignoring Elspeth without so much as a “thank you”, and began to theatrically roll up her sleeves while the rest of the class instead rolled their eyes. The girl turned around, and began to announce to the class that she was going to do something or other. James was hardly paying any attention, mainly due to him not caring what she had to say, and partially because a familiar feeling was creeping up on him once again.....
