"Lord Fukushu!"
Fukushu turned now towards his subordinate, watching as Akira knelt before him. "Speak Akira."
"My lord," Akira stated. "Our forces have engaged the wizards along the Eastern and Western paths."
Fukushu nodded, rubbing his chin as his eight tails swayed behind him. "How are our forces?"
"Shinji and Daichi were able to stall the western group," Akira said. "The demon queen and Mika were both present however."
"Are they dead," Fukushu asked furrowing his brow.
Akira shifted nervously before his master as he now thought of how to tell him of their failure. "No my lord," he muttered. "Daichi was rendered unconscious by a demon while Mika was able to convince Shinji to not attack. The western group is now advancing once more."
"That was to be expected," Fukushu shrugged. "However they have served their purpose. The western path is quite difficult to traverse. By stalling Lilith and Mika they have bought us valuable time. They will not be able to reach me in time."
"But Shinji and Mika sir," Akira asked.
"My little sister has never been one of my favorites," Fukuahu sighed. "However, their are others within our clan who care for her deeply. Shinji, despite his protests, cared very deeply for the girl. I had hoped he would encounter her. Even delaying them for only moments has brought me closer to achieving my goal."
Akira now watched in stunned silence as Fukushu checked the pocket watch, a smile spreading across his face. "Twenty minutes," he smiled. "What of the eastern front?"
"Isao and Aiyo engaged the second group in battle," Akira said.
"I take it Isao didn't follow my orders and attempted to kill them," Fukuahu stated.
"Yes," Akira stammered. "But how did you know?"
"Isao has a great deal of hatred towards wizards," Fukuahu said quietly. "A rogue mage stole his sight centuries ago. He has been looking for revenge since. What of your sister Aiyo? Was she able to assist?"
"Yes my lord," Akira said. "They were able to delay the wizards for quite sometime and weaken them."
Fukushu smiled, Isao despite his blindness was a cunning warrior and quite powerful. He had paired the two together along the Eastern path to delay or even injure the wizards. That path was significantly shorter and could allow any taking it to reach Fukushu quickly. Isao and Aiyo's skirmish had now delayed their arrival significantly.
"Excellent," Fukushu smiled. "Everything is proceeding as planned."
"My lord their is a problem," Akira said nervously, causing the eight tails to gaze sharply at him. "Lord Tatsu and Lady Shizen have entered the battle."
Fukushu snarled, cursing under his breath at his parents untimely arrival. "That is most unfortunate," he growled. "Mother and fathers arrival have put our plans in jeopardy."
Fukushu now took a deep breath before turning once more towards Akira. "It appears a diversion is in order."
"What are your orders," Akira asked.
"Akira I wish for you to take the Voids to the hotel," Fukuahu said. "By posing a threat 0to the wizards children, we will delay their arrival further. Perhaps lessen their strength as some are forced to retreat to provide assistance."
"Are you sure," Akira asked.
"The next generation of wizards are far too important to all involved," Fukushu stated. "That and their are mortals their that will be unable to defend themselves against our attack. The wizards will not be able to resist returning to save them."
Akira nodded, vanishing into thin air as he began to prepare an attack. Fukuahu now once more found himself gazing out at the horizon before looking at his pocket watch. Nineteen minutes. He needed to hold on to the child for nine teen more minutes to assure his success. Hopefully now his forces could hold out for that small amount of time.
