Leah regarded James with a smirk before raising an arm ominously "and now to make you dissapear!"
There were audible gasps in the room and, moreso than any other transformatiom, James felt genuinely afraid.
"No dissapearance spells Miss Watson!" Elspeth ordered, but to everyone's surprise Leah finished her spell and suddenly the desk James had been sat on was empty.
"What on Earth are you playing at you stupid girl!" Elspeth, for once, seemed genuinely upset "don't you know how dangerous vanishing spells are?"
"Oh it wasn't a vanishing spell" Leah smirked. Suddenly there was a scream from the direction of a nearby locker room. Not long after James came running fearfully back into the room persued by a very angry looking young woman in a towel.
"Excuse me ma'am that man was.." the petit blonde girl began, her cheeks glowing bright red.
"I'm sorry Emma, a teleportation spell gone awry" Elspeth cut her off quickly "I take full responsibility."
Emma looked as if she had more to say but instead nodded respectfully and left. Elspeth turned back to the class with an expression James had not seen before and did not want to see again. Reading the room, Leah had already retreated to her desk.
"Might I remind you all James is not here for your entertainment" the old witch began "some of you have impressed me today but others have left me severely dissapointed with the innapropriateness or intent of your so called transformations. Morgan, Abigail, Tamsin, Lucy and Leah all fall firmly into this category."
There was a deathly hush over the whole room now that showed just how much Elspeth's approval meant to these girls.
"For the rest of this lesson, only animal and inanimate transformations are allowed. Clearly some of you can't be trusted beyond that"
It wasn't exactly what James had wanted to hear, he had hoped the lesson would be brought to a premature close. But at least he could be reassured he wouldn't become a pair of buttocks again.
Next up was..
