“Hmm… No, I can see that you are not ready to join the horses properly. Maybe a bit of time among your peers could change that”
One of the boys at the side came forward shortly after with a new halter for Princess, that didn’t react as the boy removed the old one and slipped the new bit inside her mouth, this binding much more comfortable and slightly looser but not less secure than the previous.
The accursed woman then took the reins and lead the mare to the entrance of the stable as another attendant brought the grey mare on the outside too, and left her in the care of a young and seemingly inexperienced aide. She could see that the former thief probably recovered from her stunned state by now as the mare refused to be led as an animal, conveying her displeasure by stomping and snapping at the young attendant whenever she tried to direct the horse forward, even if they somehow were still able to change her bridle to another one in between.
“Here Ally, allow me. You must be firm and decisive with this kind of behavior” The attendant instructed the young girl and spilt up the two struggling females with a confident gait and grasped the grey mare’s binding with ease, then ordered the other girl to get going “You are really stubborn mister thief, maybe we should have changed you into a jenny instead. Ah, I almost forgot, your name from now on is Sophie, and you should really start to react to it when called, do you understand?” The newly named Sophie folded back her ears and snorted challenging at the one way conversation, but took a step back in fright as the woman leaned down and whispered something in her ear.
“Are we clear now? Will you follow my orders?” The mare reluctantly nodded and assumed a defeated look “Don’t be a drama queen now, we all know that you really don’t desire to stay here in the long run and only agreed because you want to wait a more favorable timing to escape. I assure you that you will soon change your mind. But let’s not beat around the bush, come on girls, let’s begin the journey to bring out the inner mares you two really are to the forefront” The attendant grinned as the two horses were let in a small stable far from the main entrance and from prying eyes.

There was something strange in this compound, Princess thought as she tried to understand the role of this enclosure. The little stable was different from the one used to house all the steeds, there were no single stalls but instead a central iron railing lined in its entirely by a trough full of water, with dozens of mares tied by their harness to the central post all directed toward the water surface. The first thing that assaulted Princess’s senses in the first moments was the overpowering and unmistakable smell of barn and feminine arousal inside, and a quick glance confirmed for her that the various females had the same swollen lips and sticky mess under their half raised tails. This was probably the place that the Zoo used to contain the newly transformed, so where were the stallions? Were they housed in yet another place? A sudden shiver traveled all the way of her back when she grasped the numbers of kidnapped humans in this operation, so many young women and men caught by the traps and left to this… this humiliation, treated with no right as simple animals. I was not the only one taken aback by this sight, Sophie too shifted nervously and leaned back slightly ready to bolt as she understood immediately that we would join them shortly.
All those fillies could not move very much, because they were placed side to side with others in the same situation, and the bindings were short to begin with, so at best they could only back away a few inches or lay down on their bellies. Most of the already present horses perked up when they heard the attendant open the wooden door and enter the building, but calmed down when we were revealed. ‘Who or what are they waiting for?’ Sophie found her new place first as she let the woman begrudgingly tie her near a white mare, then was Princess’s turn as she was placed between Sophie and an all-black mare.
The woman decided in that moment to be obtrusive as she slapped both the mare’s rumps with a smile and assumed her best tour guide tone, as if they were tourists lead to a suite “Well girls, here we are, your new home for the foreseeable future. Lunch and dinner are served respectively at 12.00 and 20.00, with the rare sugar lump if you behave. I would give you a more intensive explanation normally but we have to capture and introduce in the zoo the other fleeing thieves now, so enjoy your stay and goodbye! I will see you later” And with this last remark she left, closing the door and leaving the stable without supervision and completely silent.
