"Oh my god!" Tammy half screamed, half stated, still worried about causing too much of a scene. "We have to fix this!"
Tamika returned a withering look. "I warned you this sort of thing would happen. And I still don't see why you didn't just suggest everyone help around the house more without bringing the app into it in the first place. I keep telling people, when they like how things are going, throw that horrible thing out."
Tammy sighed. "Well I don't see how we could talk Tanya into fixing this, and we certainly can't ask... whatever his name is to just write himself out of this life of luxury. We can't trust the kids with something like this either... who does that leave?"
Tamika gave her an encouraging pat on the back as they kept searching. Eventually, they found the servants' quarters their house now had, apparently, which Tammy now shared with Consuela, who as it happens, was ducking in for a quick break.
"Oh hello Mrs. Rivers! Is something wrong? I'd have thought you'd be out with the children, watching the puppies being born."
Tammy needed to steady herself from all the implications there, so Tamika did her best to explain things. "Consuela, how long have you worked here?"
"Oh... is it some sort of anniversary? I know it must be more than 10 years, but it couldn't be 15, could it?"
"Right, and how long have you known Tammy here?"
"Why... just these past two weeks now. Oh no! Are you replacing me? Has something gone missing?"
"No no, nothing like that. It's... a complicated story... you do have a cell phone for when you're out of the house, yes?"
Tamika proceeded to download the app to her phone, explaining how it worked, and how things were before Tammy's earlier mishap, with Tammy being quick to point out that she and Bart actually had employed Consuela before all this started.
"This is a very strange joke, Mrs. Rivers. You want me to play with this phone until it says you're married to the dogs?"
Tammy said, "I know it's a lot to take in, but you have to believe us! You can even test it first to see for yourself! Just... change something simple about one of us, like how we're dressed or what color my eyes are or something.
"Just don't mess with these awareness/acceptance settings. Well, not yet anyway."
