It wasn´t long before both Chad and Mickey looked at each other with hate, each blaming the other for their predicament. Both tried to hit the other or kick him, but both were to weak to really harm the other by that.
When Luna returned and watched them silently, she listened to their thoughts a bit.
“That´s all your fault, you little shit. Just because you can´t take a bit of fun your friend reduced me into a baby. It´s just fitting you joined me here, I hope I can make you scream in pain soon.” Thought a pissed Chad.
Mickey wasn´t better: “You asshole have earned your fate. I just wanted to return a bit of the bulling you did on me, and now my own friend has reduced me to the same fate, which is your fault.”
Luna shook her head again at them. She would need to use her magic on them, so they would get along. “I think I said you would need to get along, not threaten each other in your mind.”
Both boys looked up startled at her with big eyes. “Well, I will help you then. Don´t say I didn´t warn you.” With that she left the room again, returning with two bottles after a couple of minutes. But both could see whatever was inside wasn´t milk. But Luna showed no mercy and after taking their pacifiers out forced them to drink their bottles.
The outer changes weren´t much. Their form was quiet similar already, so all that happened was darkening Mickey´s skin a bit while Chad´s got a bit lighter. The only other thing that changed was their hair color, as Chad´s turned from blond to brown, while Mickey´s changed form black to brown. Their faces remained unchanged.
The far bigger change happened on their inside. It worked on their minds, changing their hate for each other more to brotherly love. They would remember it, but it wouldn´t trouble them in growing close. Other memories out of their old life turned a bit foggier, as they didn´t need to remember them as clearly, but nothing was erased. But something was still lingering when the other changes finished.
Luna smiled at them again. “Now you look more like twins then before, little ones. But if you are twins, you will need more similar names, don´t you think? Don´t worry, you will keep your old names as seconds.” With that she stood there thinking.
Chad wasn´t happy with how that sounded. He liked his name as it was. The same was true for Mickey. But they couldn´t do anything to stop Luna from renaming them.
“Okay, I have decided on some more similar names for you both. We will call you Cedric Chad and Medric Mickey. That way I can call you Ced and Med if I need short names for you.” Luna said grinning.
To them it felt like their new name penetrated their mind, and while they still had their old name and remembered it as their original ones, it was like a turned switch that they thought about themselves now as Ced and Med in short. Their eyes went wide as they realized that.
Luna replaced their bottles with their pacifiers again. “Don´t worry, soon it will be everything normal to you, my little ones. Now, as its getting late, I hope you will sleep soon. Good night, my boys.”
They couldn´t fight the drowsiness that washed over them, and soon were sound asleep, and much to their old minds horror, were hugging each other tightly.
Luna left them, thinking to herself: “Now let the magic work and let them become close. Maybe I was a bit harsh, but I can´t change that now. At least through the pacifier I can make sure they sleep through the night, and as their diapers clean themselves, they won´t need me for tonight.”
That had been a rather complicated enchantment, but she had seen it work as Chad´s diaper had dried after he had been scared by Mickey. The diapers would be unable to be removed as long as she wanted them to stay on, but would clean themselves over a short time after use. And the pacifiers were also enchanted, had a calming effect and couldn´t be spit out. And she could use the calming effect to get them to sleep if needed.
Soon Luna fell asleep herself, only a bit sad her friend couldn´t be her partner anymore.
