Jamie was stunned, taken aback by what she saw. That wasn't real. That couldn't have been real. But she saw it. 5 minutes of staring at that mirror was proof enough that it happened. She just shook her head in disbelief. Must have been a trick of the mind, making her think that. Must have just been tired. A quick drink and returning to any of her flat-pack furniture should bring her back to reality. Even then, while making herself a coffee, her mind was just trying to understand what even happened. Maybe this was a dream? Was there a gas leak? Something surely was up.
"Calm down, Jamie" she thought "You just daydreamed. That's perfectly normal. You just dreamed that you were a fairy. Perfectly normal thing to dream about. Right, back to work". She finished her cup of coffee, placed the mug down and went back into her room to finish her wardrobe.
The whole time she returned to work, she felt a huge headache coming up, especially at two sides of her forehead, almost jabbing to get out. It was hugely distracting, but it would go away slowly whenever she returned to look at the mirror. It would just be gone until she returned to work. This didn't feel right.
