2016 brought about a great change to the world. Starting on January 1 people began to be transformed. Those that were transformed on January 1 were born on January 1. The trend of people transforming on their birthday continued throughout the year and continued in subsequent years to the present. When people came into contact with someone who had been transformed they knew that they were transformed and would know who they were if they had known who they were before, no matter what form they happen to be. The third thing that is common is that someone who had gone through the first transformation would be resurrected on their Transformation Day if they had died during the year. Another commonality is that the person’s clothes, even those they’re not wearing, transform to fit their new body. The last commonality is that none of them age older than they would be on that date.
2017 was the last year for new babies to be born. Those born after that were definitely ones that shared the mother’s Transformation Day, having been transformed into a developing baby and transported into the womb.
The transformations occurred at different times on a person’s Transformation Day and there isn’t any rhyme or reason to what someone transforms into. The transformations can be so small that or hidden inside that the person would appear to not have been changed, or they can be major changes.
Now we begin our stories in 2019 on your Transformation Day. A few things about the world though. On June 14, 2018 the US president transformed into a jade statue of a girl and so the Vice President had to take over, this may or may not still be true depending on when your transformation day is. Congress has had trouble coming up with legislation to encompass what happened. There are a couple of key laws though. If you’re sex is changed then you will be known by that sex and are allowed to be on that sex’s sport teams or use that sex’s restrooms, though every place has to have a restroom that is neutral for those that don’t want to us their new sex’s restrooms. The other law is that states must have capital punishment. Even though no one now dies permanently they figured that it’s a fair punishment for you to be killed if you killed another person. There is an exception made for those that were transformed into meat animals. Some states have called for Constitutional amendments to have a census every year and to change how the president is elected since they may announce running for president and then the next day become an inanimate object unable to campaign. The last thing is that most people have a male and female name which they tend to use for male and female forms.
