"Well, Dean, let's see how an extra-large Varsity Letterman's jacket changes me!" Jeff said picking up the jacket that was Dean. He didn't know if Dean was conscious or not in his new form, and he didn't know how his body and mind would change when he put it on.
There was that warm tingling sensation again, but this time it was stronger and centered on his joints. For about five seconds it hurt like hell as he experienced extreme growing pains. Jeff's arms telescoped down the sleeves, his own clothing became fluidic rippling as reality changed. Jeff's chest swelled, his thighs bulked up, his legs and torso grew. He was now an exta large athlete. He was now the star quarterback at his school. In this new reality, Jeff's and Dean's school colors changed to match the jacket. Jeff was still Jeff--at least as far as his identity went--but his personality and physique were dramatically altered. The books and models vanished from his shelves. Now trophies decorated his room: MVP Awards, Wrestling, Football, and even Water Polo trophies covered the shelves, along with lots of team photos. Jeff was amazed to find himself a foot taller than he had been in the photo of his highschool's football team. Terry Maxwell the former star quarterback was now second string to Jeff. Jeff was Big Man On Campus, and he liked that. Jeff's own clothing now consisted of an Oxford baby blue
The prospect that in a week the jacket that had transformed him would revert to a human being disturbed him. He wondered if he'd cease to be the quarterback. He certainly held his former dweeby self in contempt now, and as BMOC he certainly couldn't associate with a science nerd like Dean. Maybe he could make Dean into his receiver or into a wrestler, but Jeff thought it would be simpler if he could make Dean remain a jacket permanently.
Jeff sat down at the Chronivac and carefully pecking at the keys with his new sausage sized fingers, he searched the help menu for a way to prolong Dean's condition.
