The breeze of wind blows through Daniels hair as he opens his eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling... Or, no ceiling at all. Daniel jolted awake and tried to confirm the situation. He looked around seeing he was at a beach side, with palm trees swaying in the breeze, and a dense jungle behind him. "Where... Where am I?" Daniel got upon his feet to explore. Odley enough, his back was aching. He was sleeping on the sand the whole time so he saw no reason to why he would be hurting that much.
Daniel ignored the pain for now and continued to explore. "Well this sucks. How am I gonna survive this? Hello!? Anybody out there!?" He tried telling into the jungle to see if anyone would come to his direction. Sadly nobody bit. "Is this place deserted? I'm I really the only one here?" Daniel started sweating at the fact that there could be no one to help him. He decided to take matters into his own hands.
He went to a nearby tree with some strange shapes on the branches. He figured it would be a fruit he's never heard of. "Guess I'll have to do this on my own... Man, I gotta stop talking to myself." He told himself climbing up the tree. He placed himself atop The branch, grabbing the strange fruit. The fruit was shaped kind of like a cucumber, only it had a larger stem and was colored blue. "Well, gotta eat something. Bottoms up." He said taking a big bite into the fruit. "Hmm... Sweet, sour, tangy, and spicy... And it actually balances well." Daniel was thankful that the fruit not only tasted good, but didn't kill him instantly at the same time. "I gotta stock up on this- OUCH!" Daniel suddenly felt his back strain even in worse condition. This caused him to fall out of the tree, thankfully in the soft sand.
Daniels back pain was too hard for him to maintain. It was as if it was extending out from his lower back. He tried to look behind him to see what was happening back there... It looked like something was growing... But what?
