The weird feeling spread from Julie's foot up her leg, which felt not just bigger but harder, as if the soft flesh of her calf was being replaced with hard muscle. Hardness, invulnerability, it felt good, like what she wanted. The feeling continued to creep up the right side of her body, as her hips and butt felt different, lean and muscular rather than curvy. The hardness crept up her side to her right arm, which felt perceptibly longer as well as bulkier. She made a fist, and felt power radiate through her new upper limb. (Sam had been an athlete, one reason he thought he could get away with rape.) She knew that the feeling of change was an illusion, that neither her nor Sam's body was changing, but that her mind was now claiming Sam's body as her own.
The new feeling enveloped her neck and head, as she felt a thick column of muscle was now connecting her head and body. The changes to the head itself were more intangible.
As the new feeling began to work its way down the left side of her body, she realized that her new, hard, muscular body didn't feel weird anymore--it felt normal. The soft, curvy part of her body was the part that felt weird now.
Her body? His body.
