Max is a 25 year old guy living with his girlfriend of 3 years. They just got home from the mall, and he headed downstairs to his office to play some games. He went through his normal prep to set up, grabbed a beer from the mini-fridge and dumped the contents of his pockets on his desk. Thats when he saw it, it was plain black business card with a QR code and the phrase “Change the world!”
“Where did I get this? When did I get this?” He was at a loss he didn’t remember picking up such an ambiguous card. Max worked as an IT consultant and would pick up cards anywhere he went in an attempt to find new clients. Occasional people would give them to him too, but he had no memory of this one. “Maybe if I scan the code I will remember?” He question himself and pulled his phone out to scan the QR code on the card. Shortly after scanning the card he was prompted to install an application on his phone. “Now I’m sure I didn’t pick this up. Is this maybe a sample ai received from one of my software vendors?” He decided to let the application install and would check it out later.
Several hours passed and he took a break from some heavy gaming to grab another beer and use the restroom. He grabbed his phone as he sat back down at his desk and took a look at the new app.
“Change the Word? Thats a dumb name...” he grumbled opening it up. He was prompted with a few steps on how to use the app.
1. Point back facing or front facing camera at target source.
2. Select generate
3. Change generated sentence as desired
4. Enjoy the changes

He used the front facing camera and clicked generate.
‘This 25 year old man is staring intently at his phone.’
”Well that’s disconcerting...” He clicked generate again.
‘This obese man is considering deleting a priceless app from his phone.’ Was that snark? Was this app being snarky?
“Im only obese by the stupid BS BMI standards he yelled at the phone screen.” He covered his mouth when he realized he was yelling. “Deep breaths, well it says change a word so lets change that.” He with no small amount of smugness he changed obese to fit, he hesitated when he saw the reality and awareness buttons were greyed out and off. Trying to select them elicited a groan as he read the popup. ‘Buy full version for full functionality!’
“Screw it.” he mumbled and just hit except. “Huh...” Max stood up and looked down at himself. He felt different and looking down it became apparent the bit of pudge he had was gone. Not only that he had muscle-tone. Max was overweight but he was never Super big. He was 6’1” and his weight was well distributed so he just looked heavy set, but now he looked like a quarterback he had abs! “Okay that wasn’t Snark, maybe it was literally priceless.” He said his mind was humming with possibilities. “What next...” he glanced around trying to find his next target for his experimentation.
