Kendall walked with his shopping cart throughout the supermarket, but then he was interrupted. A girl stood in front of him, blocking his path. She was looking directly at him. Was this a girl he knew? It took him a couple of seconds and then he remembered her. Josie was her name. A girl who had occasionally pestered them back when they were attending high school.
"Hello Kendall." she greeted. So far it didn't seem like she had mean intentions.
"Hello Josie." he replied.
Are you alright with this?" she asked him.
"This?"
"This." she repeated, gesturing at the mountain of diapers in Kendall's shopping cart.
"You mean being a parent? It's a lot of work, but we're hanging in there."
"Do you want to stay a parent?" she followed up. "While you've made an admirable effort in being a dad, you'd rather go back to being a girl, right?"
Kendall was surprised by Josie's words. Go back to being a girl? Was she aware of their situation? She couldn't be referring to anything else. How did Josie of all people know about what happened to him?
"I am here to give you an offer." Josie smirked.
"What kind of offer? Are you behind all of this?"
"Maybe I am behind your situation. I'll tell you my offer, then you can choose to accept or decline. My offer is for you to completely change back into a girl. You can leave all of this life behind."
Was Josie telling the truth? Could she actually change him back? Could he return to the life he had before, no longer having to work long hours at the car dealership? Wait. He realized something. Connie or the twins hadn't been mentioned.
"What about Connie? What about Leo and Luna?"
"This offer is only for you. I won't change them in any way."
"Why just me?"
"I wanted to give you an interesting choice." she snickered. "Also, after watching you, I don't hate you that much. You can actually be caring at times. Connor doesn't deserve you."
"Wait, when did you watch me?"
"I can do it whenever I feel like it. For example I was bored yesterday, so I checked up on you and Connie. After eating pizza, the two of you gave me quite a show. " she teased.
Had Josie actually been watching them? Shivers went down his spine at the thought. To think someone had looked at his and Connie's private moments. Josie seemed vile. He didn't want to accept her so called "offer". It's not like he could abandon Connie, Leo or Luna.
"So what is it Kendall? Do you accept my offer?"
