After a while their maidly duties come to an end and all are sent on their way. Arden smiled to himself, this was such a fascinating experience, that of a common maid. A refreshingly mundane experience in a life commonly dominated by pompous balls and pretentious ceremonies.
But alas, the day was going to a close and sooner or later his family may notice his absence. They did not usually pay him much mind but even their neglect can be challenged with enough time.
He looks for Geri and sees her... him, smiling and giggling with some other maids as they walk together. Geri’s long hair looked almost real, and almost made Arden jealous of how smooth it was. But he shook that concern off. He was happy that Geri had gone along with his plan. The red hair was now even tied up to avoid getting in the way.
“Excuse me Gertrude” he says as he interjects with the oddly entertaining gossip, he’d never been one for servants chatter but today had taught him he should pay more mind to it.
“Oh! Hi Arianna. I was just listening to Brenda recount how Sir Golric broke an entire row of vases during training “ his voice came out sweat and high pitch, it was almost hard to recall if as anything else.
“Oh, I’ll have to hear all about it. But right now I need to borrow you for something”
“Of course Arianna. Bye girls” he waved at the maids as the pair left.
Once alone “Well this has been fascinating. Truely.”
“What has Arianna?” Geri asked confused, to which Arden raised an eyebrow “dressing up as maids, living as the common folk”
“Huh... oh! Oh! Yes. Aria.. uh sire. I suppose it has.”
Arden doesn’t pay much mind to the confusion, after a day of hard work he decided to head hack to his own bed. His legs moved much more swiftly after moving around today, they seemed kind of smaller too. Maybe fat burned away quicker than he thought.
