As Annetta and Giana filled with junk food, they saw a group of girls running down the street.
"Quick, the Coachwoman is about to open the water attraction," said one of the girls.
"I heard that it is the best part of the island and it is the last attraction they open," another one continued.
Hearing that, Giana stopped drinking her strawberry milkshake and rose from the table. "Come on Annetta, we have to go there and be one of the first" she said cheerfully.
Despite being tired from so many rides and not having finished eating her chocolate Tiramisu, Annetta had to get out of the food court to accompany Giana.
“Come on, Annetta! Move that butt.” Giana told to a tired Annetta while the were running to the new attraction. Unfortunately for Giana, there was a huge crowd when they reached the entrance to the water coaster. Practically every girl on Pleasure Island was there wanting to get on. So they had to wait their turn.
“Hello girls!” The Coachwoman said at the top. “I hope you are having a great time, now I will open this attraction to your delight. And remember: in Pleasure Island there are no rules, so keep doing whatever you want and have fun.” Then a cry of joy came from the crowd while the Coachwoman got off the stage.
After a while, while they were waiting their turn, Annetta began to suspect that something was wrong. “Hey, Giana. I haven't seen any girl get off the water coaster. I don't even know where the exit is.
“It obviously has an exit, dummy. It should be somewhere behind the flumes.”
“But, any girl has returned to get back on to the water ride. The proof is that there is no one with wet clothes or wet hair here. Doesn’t it seem kinda weird?” Annetta asked whispering.
"Maybe it's not as fun as they say and they don't want to go back up again. Don't make stupid excuses. Isn't it that you're afraid of water?" Giana said in a mocking tone showing a malicious smile.
"No, is not that"
"Yes, you are afraid to get wet. You are a chicken. Cluck cluck cluck!" Giana pretended to imitate a chicken putting her hands on her sides, and folding and moving her arms as if she was flapping her wings.
The girls around them began laughing and that made Annetta nervous. "No, it's not true. And I'll show you."
Later, Annetta and Giana were in front of the water flume where their boat was. They got into the boat and then a man lowered a lever to start moving.
“Yeah, we’re in!” Giana grinned. The water flume came down, latching the two of them into place. Giana laughed again but Annetta was still worried.
