While looking around the part of the zoo you were in you thought of some animals to swap with people, and some that would be interesting to try out yourself. You were getting a head of yourself anyway. You wanted to take this whole thing slow, there was too many possibilities and only a few hours in a day. Though you had a few targets that interested you at that moment, and before you could do anything there was a mild disturbance coming from your belly. You remembered that you had a pouch now, somehow having this kangaroo body felt so natural that you had forgotten you had it. Looking down at your pouch there was some wriggling and jostling inside that made your heart skip a few beats. It didn't take long to realize that when you swapped the female roo with your own body that you had to have also kept the little joey inside her pouch which is not yours.
The little joey eventually peeked it's head out of your kangaroo pouch. The roo was shaking it's head back and forth looking at it's surroundings pretty curiously. It's head eventually turned to look at your head. It's eyes looked at yours and you weren't sure what it was thinking. You didn't know what to even do at this point. It's eyes kept on looking at you which seemed to make you nervous.
"Weren't you going to wake me up when we got to the zoo?" The joey whined. From the sound of it, the voice sounded like a young kid, more of a girl's then a boy's. "I wanted to see the kangaroos!" She impatiently said.
"Um, well I just got here. I was just going to wake you up, uh honey." You weren't sure to use that nomenclature, cause you're weren't sure if it saw, or well she saw yourself as a parent. Something that you began to hope this wasn't the case.
"Okay daddy," Your heart almost stopped again. "Can I see the kangaroos now?"
"Um sure, honey." You began to walk with your long feet, or paws in this instance, back towards the kangaroo section which wasn't far at all. Walking over to the enclosure where a black metal bar fence surrounded the kangaroo exhibit. Looking down at what seems to be your daughter now, you saw some excitement come from the joey.
"Look at all of them jumping around." As she said that she seemed to try bouncing in your pouch which caused you some discomfort.
"Hey, you're hurting me." You explain to her.
"Oh sorry dad, you know how much I love kangaroos." She told you. She then pointed at a kangaroo with another young joey in her pouch. "Look a baby kangaroo."
"Yeah, baby kangaroos are called joeys." You told the joey.
"Cool, they have the same name as me." Some relief that you found out your daughters name before having to ask it from her. "Hey I like the one that has clothes on." She pointed to the one that had your old body.
"It seems to be a special kind of kangaroo." You thought.
"Yeah, it doesn't seem to bounce as high as the others, and it doesn't even have a big long tail." She seemed to be mildly bored with that one. You felt some personal attack with her kind of hating your body in a way, on the other hand it seemed pretty hilarious that your kangaroo daughter didn't know it used to be yours.
"Hey, Joey. Wanna go see some other animals?"
"Yeah of course I do!"
